How opt-in works
Every InCerkle text starts with the member's own opt-in.
InCerkle, operated by MorWes LLC, is a private social circle that lives in text messages, with a web app for the same circle. Nobody is ever added from a list or by another person, and texts are never a condition of having an account: every feature works on the web without them. There are exactly three ways to opt in, described below with the real consent controls. No box is ever pre-selected.
Text a keyword
The homepage invites visitors to text HI to (678) 519-6017. The consent statement sits directly under the button, before anyone sends anything:

The consumer sends the first message themselves. Our first reply repeats the disclosures and asks for a username; the Cerkle is live after two more replies. The same happens when someone texts JOIN followed by a friend's invite code.

The mobile number is the account's login credential (InCerkle has no passwords). The visitor types their own number and receives a one-time verification code. That code is a single transactional message sent through Twilio Verify; it is not part of the notification program and no campaign consent is attached to it. This is the live form:

After verifying, they pick a username and name their Cerkle. Relay texts are an optional, unchecked box on that step. "Create my Cerkle" works either way: unticked, the Cerkle is created for use on the web and nothing is ever texted; ticked, an opt-in is recorded and relays begin.
A member who declined can turn texts on later from their Cerkle page (the choice shows the same consent language and records the opt-in), and any member can turn them off there or by replying STOP.

A member shares their Cerkle's invite link or code. The page is private to that code, so it cannot be opened without one; the form is identical to the one below. The invitee verifies their own number exactly as in step 2, then joins. The relay-texts box is optional and unchecked; "Join the Cerkle" works with or without it. Paid creator Cerkles require agreement to the recurring charge (a separate box) and hand off to Stripe Checkout; texts stay optional there too.

Opting out and getting help
Every opt-in is stored as an append-only consent record (number, Cerkle, channel, source, time), and every message is checked against a current opt-in before it is sent; a member with no opt-in is simply never texted. Replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT stops all InCerkle messages at once and records the opt-out; the confirmation reads "You have been unsubscribed from InCerkle and will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe." Replying HELP returns the command list and support contact.
Messages sent: account and signup messages (including verification codes), notifications when another member of the recipient's own Cerkle posts, and replies to the recipient's own commands.
